Stepping Stones Triple P Self-Help Workbook

Is this you?

Between caring for your child with a disability and juggling the demands of daily life, you’re probably too busy to join a group parenting session or see a parenting worker in person. Perhaps you live too far away or you’re just too shy.

Even so, raising a child with a disability brings extra challenges for managing everyday issues. And you would like some help. If any of this strikes a chord, the Stepping Stones Triple P Self-Help Workbook could be great for you. The Self-Help Workbook is available to parents in Queensland and Victoria - it is not currently available in New South Wales.

What is the Stepping Stones Triple P Self-Help Workbook?

This workbook is full of ideas to help boost the confidence of parents raising children with disabilities. It takes you through a series of reading and practice tasks to help you teach your child new skills, and to manage problem behaviour and developmental issues common in children with disabilities.

How does it work?

The Self-Help Workbook is easy to use. Each week, you’ll be asked to read sections of the workbook and to complete several exercises. The workbook has been designed to give you the information and skills you need to start practising your positive parenting strategies with your own family as soon as possible.

Telephone support is available if required.

How long will it take?

The workbook has been designed for you to undertake 10 weekly sessions but you can move through this as slow or as fast as you like.
